Fotios Patsourakos is a Graduate of the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he graduated in 1979. At the same time, he graduated from Military Medicine (SSAS) with the degree of Lieutenant. He specialized in Cardiology during the period 1983-1987 at the University Cardiology Clinic (Hippocratic Hospital). He was the Curator and Director of the Ultrasound Laboratory of the Cardiology Clinic of 401 GSNA, the Director of Cardiology 216 KICHNE, the Deputy Director of the Cardiology Clinic of 401 GSNA and the Chief Physician. He is a Member of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology of ELIKAR and the Echocardiography Working Group and Scientific - Administrative Director of a Private Polyclinic in Ilioupoli.

During the 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Special Olympics 2011 in Athens, he served as Director of Medical Services in the Tennis Sector. He was the Treasurer of the Medical Association of Athens in the period 2011-2018 and the First Vice-President of the Medical Association of Athens from 2018 until today.
