George Zoumis received his medical degree from the Sapienza Università di Roma in 1983. In 1984 he successfully attended and graduated from the School of Sanitation and then attended the Navy Diving School from where he received in 1985 a Scuba Diver Degree with a specialization in Diving Medicine. He specialized in Cardiology under the guidance of Professor Spyridon Moulopoulos, at the University Hospital "Alexandra", where he specialized as Cardiologist in 1993. He has attended numerous scientific conferences and educational conferences both in Greece and abroad. During his professional career, among others, he has taken the following positions: He served as Chairman of the Board of the network of diagnostic centers LEKATSA, Scientific manager of the diagnostic center Medico Check and Cardiologist at the diagnostic center EUROMEDICA Kifissia. Today, in parallel with his private practice in the center of Athens, he collaborates with MITERA Hospitals and ATHENS MEDICAL, while he is a Doctor of the Kyriakou group of companies (Antenna TV / Radio, Athenian Sea Carriers).

Since 2004, he has been working at the GENESIS Private Clinic in Athens, where he has gained long experience and specialization in handling assisted reproduction cases. In collaboration with the GENESIS team of Athens, he has contributed to significant successful cases in the field of infertility, with the memorable case of a woman, who managed to conceive and give birth to a child at the age of 69.
