Dr. George Marinos is the Director of General Medicine at the G.N.A. Peoples Hospital. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Iasi in 1998. In 2002 he served his military service as a Reserve Surgeon in Andravida, Ilia. From 2004 to 2008 he was a Specialist in General Medicine at the General Hospital of Athens, Laiko. In 2008 he received the title of Specialization of General Medicine. From 2009 to 2010 he was an Assistant General Practitioner at the Emergency Department of the General Hospital of Athens. From 2009 until today he is the coordinator of the Emergency Department on a general duty day of the G.N.A. Laiko Hospital as well as the head of the Emergency Department and the Regular Outpatient Clinics. From 2010 to 2016 he served as Curator of the 2nd General Medicine in the Emergency Department of the G.N.A.. From 2007 to 2010 he served as a Specialist Scientist in the teaching work of the AD University Cardiology Clinic of the Medical School of EKPA at the Hippocration Hospital. He holds two Master's Degrees and got his PhD from the Medical School of the University of Athens in 2009.

From 2010 until today he is a Scientific Associate of the AD University Cardiology Clinic of the Medical School of EKPA. From 2016 to 2019 he was the First Curator of General Medicine at the Emergency Department of the General Hospital of Athens, Laiko Athinon and from 2016 until today he is the Coordinator of General Medicine Education at the G.N.A. Hospital. From 2017 to 2019 he was the Scientific Head of the Independent Department of IT of the G.N.A. Hospital. From 2013 until today he is the Head of the Occupational Clinic of GNA Laiko.

He has a rich publication activity with a total of 190 scientific works. He is married and has two children.
