New horizons and networking opportunities for the training of students and young doctors abroad, are opened by the unification of forces of the Greek Medical Associations around the world, at the initiative of the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute. This initiative should put an end to "the phenomenon” of young doctors looking for positions for post graduate studies through "acquaintances” since this shall be achieved institutionally. The online seminar on "Hippocrates unites Greek Doctors around the world", was organized by the Global Doctors` Hippocratic Institute in association with Greek Medical-Biomedical Associations abroad (Australia, America, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Romania, Cyprus). The seminar aimed to link medical schools around the world with the Hippocratic Medical Philosophy and Ethics and marked the resumption of the effort in the post-covid era of the realization of the great vision, that is, the establishment of the Hippocratic ideal , in order to contribute to the restart of the country and make the best  of the leading Greek scientists that offer their services around the 5 continents. "Our goal is to unite the dynamics of Greek doctors worldwide and to highlight the results of modern Greek intercontinental cooperation- a pact of cooperation of all Greek doctors worldwide", stressed during his speech Dr George Patoulis, president of the Athens Medical Association and of the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute and Governor of the Region of Attica. He described the goals of the Institute, emphasizing that it is an international hub for the connection of all doctors around the world, with the main objectives:

-The exchange of views and the development of scientific dialogue and know-how by creating a vital core of medical networking.

-Establishing and awarding prizes of excellence for eminent physicians with internationally recognized action.

-The historical revival and promotion of the Oath of Hippocrates and Hippocratic medicine around the world

-The development of cooperation networks with national and international structures and organizations concerning health and man.

-The creation of educational programs linked to the Hippocratic medical philosophy.

-The development and implementation of activities related to the education and training of Hippocratic medicine

-The connection of medical schools around the world with Hippocratic medical philosophy and ethics.

-The possibility of promoting and taking advantage of educational and training opportunities for doctors through the interconnection of Universities in Greece and internationally.

During his greeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister Kostas Vlasis spoke about the high scientific level of Greek doctors abroad, assuring that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is on their side and the cooperation will become even closer. The Deputy Minister of Education and Religions, Angelos Syrigos, expressed the view that through the exchange of views and dialogue we will obtain useful conclusions so that we can move forward in the future to a healthier society, to a humanity more confident of its next steps. The president of EOT, Angela Gerekou, referred to the role of the Organization in the promotion of the Greek Medical & Biomedical Associations Abroad and the promotion of a new Medical tourism destination based on the authentic oath of Hippocrates in Kos, emphasizing that "Greece has the whole package in order to be a top destination for health and wellness ". "We are one of the few countries in the world that have associations of Greek Doctors in all major capitals of the world," said in his speech the First Vice President of the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute Konstantinos Pantos and submitted proposals for better coordination of actions, including organized assistance in finding positions to scientists from Greece for postgraduate studies abroad, but also to scientists abroad - and mainly Greek children - for corresponding studies in Greece.

The President and the members of the Board of Directors of the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute, George Patoulis, Konstantinos Pantos, Konstantinos Kouskoukis, Antonios Polydorou and Fotis Patsourakos, spoke about the need for joint activity and the creation of a platform for consultation of the Greek doctors by Greek Medical Associations Abroad and the interconnection of medical schools around the world with Hippocratic Medical philosophy and ethics.
