A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Athens Medical Association, the Hellenic Medical and Dental Society of New England, the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute, and the Pancyprian Medical Association at the Maliotis Cultural Center, within the framework of the Hippocratic Week held in the United States.<\/p>

This collaboration aims to promote and strengthen relations among the aforementioned medical bodies, safeguard physicians\u2019 rights, enhance research and medical innovation, and achieve common educational and scientific objectives. Particular emphasis is placed on issues concerning the medical community and public health, including prevention, the development of medical educational programs, and the promotion of matters of mutual interest.<\/p>

The President of the Athens Medical Association, Dr. Georgios Patoulis, stated:
\u201cToday\u2019s signing fills us with great satisfaction and carries significant meaning. It constitutes a substantial commitment to cooperation, enabling Greek physicians to come together, exchange knowledge and experience, and deliver the best possible outcomes for medical science and society.\u201d<\/p>

Representing the Hellenic Medical and Dental Society of New England at the meeting were Vice President Mr. I. Glavas and Secretary General Ms. K. Sambani, who expressed their best wishes for the successful commencement of the collaboration and their expectation for a meaningful strengthening of ties within the scientific community in the future. The Pancyprian Medical Association was represented by the Secretary General of the Global Doctors’ Hippocratic Institute, Dr. A. Polydorou. The Executive Director of the Maliotis Cultural Center, Ms. Chrysoula Kourkounti, was also in attendance.<\/p>

As part of the event held at the Maliotis Cultural Center in Boston, the 1st International Symposium on Hellenic Eastern Heritage and Identity was also conducted, organized by the World Pan-Pontian Organization under the presidency of Mr. Ioannis Apazidis. The proceedings of the symposium focused on themes related to historical memory, culture, and the contribution of the Greek diaspora to science and society. During the symposium, the President of the Athens Medical Association, Dr. Patoulis, delivered a greeting, making particular reference to Pontic Hellenism and the genocide of the Pontic Greeks.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
